Library Director

Lori Reutter, Library Director

I was hired as Library Director in October 2014 shortly after an interior renovation of the library was completed.

I work in a lovely space and enjoy interacting with patrons of all ages as well as the awesome staff here at the library.

Having grown up in Missouri and graduated from a Kansas City-area high school, I am unapologetically a rabid Chiefs fan. :) I love sports in general especially basketball, volleyball, and track/cross-country. I love to read, cross-stich, quilt and exercise. Hiking with my family is one of my greatest joys.

I am a pretty eclectic reader, but usally gravitate toward fiction. I love a good mystery and getting lost in a historical novel or traveling to a place (real or imaginary) that I've never been. I've loved Mark Twain, Gene Stratton Porter, Brian Jacques, Diana Gabaldon, Heather Morris, Anne Perry and Dana Stabenow to name a few.

I LOVE my job...whether leading Storytime, hosting Summer Reading programs, participating in Novels @ Night Book CLub, helping a patron find just the right book or opening a new box of books to process.

The Ogden Library is my favorite place to be!
